State Police ID Victim In Fatal Greenwich Crash: Update
The 3-vehicle crash occurred Wednesday night northbound on I-95 near exit 4.

GREENWICH, CT — A 58-year-old Bulverde, TX man has been identified as the passenger who was killed Wednesday night in a three-vehicle crash on I-95 northbound in Greenwich just north of exit 4, state police announced.
Manuel Carlos De Pena was riding in the back seat of a 2014 Honda Accord, driven by Manpreet Singh, 22, of Queens Village, NY, when the crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Singh was not injured in the crash.
According to Connecticut State Police Trooper First Class Kelly Grant:

A 2016 Ford Focus, driven by Milford resident Tai Kwok Poon, and a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Norwalk resident Rosaura Cruz, were traveling north on I-95 just north of exit 4 in the center lane.
At that time, the Accord, which was traveling in the left lane, changed lanes into the center lane striking the rear of the Cruze.

After the Honda hit the Cruze, the Honda began to rotate counter clockwise. De Pena was a passenger in the back seat of the Honda and sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene, stated Grant.
Cruz and a passenger in her car, Norwalk resident Josie Marshall, suffered minor injuries in the crash and were treated at Stamford Hospital. Poon also suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.
The crash remains under investigation; whether any of the operators could face charges has not been disclosed.

I95 NB being shut down at Exit 3. Greenwich officers positioning to move traffic off 3, down Arch, through Bruce Park, onto Indian Field up to Route 1 and back on exit 5 northbound
