Severe Traffic Delays Expected On I-95 Near Greenwich: PD
Police are advising residents to expect "significant and severe traffic delays" along Interstate 95 in Greenwich this weekend.

GREENWICH, CT — Police are advising residents to expect "significant and severe traffic delays" along Interstate 95 in Greenwich this weekend. According to a post on the department's Facebook page, I-95 at exit 9 in Stamford will be shut down in both directions due to a bridge replacement project.
The closure is expected to cause delays along I-95 and US Route 1 in Greenwich from the evening of Friday, May 31, through the early morning of Monday, June 3, and again from the evening of Friday, June 7, through the early morning of Monday, June 10.
"Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area during the closure time frames to avoid heavy traffic delays," police said on Facebook.

Additionally, the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance car show is set to take place this weekend at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, just off exit 3 on Arch Street. The show draws large crowds from across the country to the area.
