Shed Catches Fire In Greenwich: FD
Firefighters responded quickly after a shed caught fire in a "non-hydranted area" of Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — Firefighters responded quickly after a shed caught fire early Monday morning near Taconic Road. The blaze broke out around 6 a.m., according to fire officials.
The shed was located in a "non-hydranted area," so firefighters utilized tankers from the Banksville Fire Department in Bedford, N.Y., and a dry hydrant from a pond for water, officials said on Facebook.
The fire was extinguished in approximately 20 minutes, and the Greenwich Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause.
