Shoplifting Arrest at Greenwich Apple Store
Greenwich Police say the suspect was 'exiting the store with what was believed to be stolen property.'

A man was arrested on a sixth-degree larceny charge Sunday in connection with an apparent shoplifting incident at the Apple Store in downtown Greenwich.
According to a Greenwich Police report, Rodney L. Scudder, 58, of 163 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Meriden was arrested about 11:18 a.m. Aug. 10 at the Apple store at 356 Greenwich Ave.
Scudder was found to be “exiting the store with what was believed to be stolen property. … the item was recovered,” according to the report. The report didn’t specify what was reportedly taken.

Scudder’s bond was set at $1,000 bond and he was given an Aug. 18 date to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford.
