Shoplifting Arrest Made At Greenwich Stop & Shop: PD
The incident occurred Monday morning on West Putnam Avenue.

GREENWICH, CT — A 58-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested Monday morning on a charge of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny after she allegedly tried to walk out of the Stop & Shop on West Putnam Avenue with $320 worth of groceries without paying, according to Greenwich police.
Vanessa S. Jackson, of Wilbur Peck Court, was apprehended at about 11:35 a.m. Details of the arrest, and what items she allegedly tried to steal, were not disclosed.
She was released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on April 6.
