Snow Day Announced For Greenwich Public Schools

GREENWICH, CT — The district announced Wednesday afternoon all Greenwich Public Schools will be closed Thursday due to expected inclement weather.

District spokesperson Jonathan Supranowitz confirmed Thursday will be a traditional snow day rather than a remote learning day. He also noted a decision will be made Thursday evening about whether Friday will be a fully remote or in-person learning day.

The announcement comes as the winter's first major storm bares down on the region.
