St. Roch's Feast Returns To Chickahominy This Month
The feast will feature music, games, rides and plenty of food, such as sausage and peppers and the popular pizza fritta.

GREENWICH, CT — The beloved St. Roch's Feast will return to the Chickahominy neighborhood of Greenwich this month, from Aug. 7 through Aug. 10.
"The feast is not just a cherished tradition in Chickahominy where St. Roch Church is a neighborhood centerpiece," First Selectman Fred Camillo said in his weekly newsletter to the community on Friday. "It draws in people of all ages from all over Town and is a great celebration of community.
For the first three nights, the festival will open at 6 p.m., and on Aug. 10, it will open at 3 p.m. so children from Hamilton Avenue School and others supported by a public or private social service in Greenwich can go on rides for free, Camillo said. The festival will open at 5 p.m. on Saturday for everyone else.

Parking will be available at 500 W. Putnam Ave., and a shuttle will take people back and forth. Accessible pick-up and drop-off will be located at the corner of St. Roch Avenue and Alexander Street, Camillo said.

Residents can purchase raffle tickets to win American Express gift card prizes valued at either $20,000 (first prize), $6,000 (second prize) or $4,000 (third prize). Ten other gift cards at $1,000 will also be available to win. The drawing will take place on Aug. 10 at 11 p.m.
