Stamford Man Accused Of Sexual Assault In Greenwich: Police

He was arrested on a warrant on Monday, Sept. 10.

GREENWICH, CT — A 30-year-old Stamford was arrested on a warrant by Greenwich police Monday, charging him criminal attempt at third-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint, according to authorities.

Details of the circumstances leading to the suspect's arrest were not disclosed, but the incident allegedly occurred in Cos Cob at about 2:48 a.m. on Dec. 3 of last year.

Arrested was Jorge H. Delgado Hernandez, of West Broad Street, who surrendered at Greenwich Police Headquarters and was held in lieu of bail of $100,000.

He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 24.
