Stamford's Toquam Magnet Elementary School To Hold Annual Jog-a-Thon Fundraiser
The event is the school's largest PTO fundraiser of the year.
STAMFORD, CT — Toquam Magnet Elementary School will host its annual Jog-a-Thon on Wednesday, Oct. 14, with a $10,000 fundraising goal and an appearance by Stamford content creator and community advocate Mike Squires.
The event is the school's largest PTO fundraiser of the year. Proceeds will support enrichment opportunities, classroom resources, student activities, staff appreciation and family events. DJ Aiden Jules is donating his services to provide music.
Squires, who helped turn a $1,000 student rewards initiative into more than $15,000 in prizes for Stamford students, became involved after a chance encounter with Jaime Ross, Toquam’s elementary math support specialist.
