Stolen Car Recovered After Chase, 3 Arrested: Greenwich Police
A stolen car from Stratford was spotted in town on Aug. 24, and a Greenwich sergeant was injured during a pursuit, police said.

GREENWICH, CT — Three people were arrested and a stolen car was recovered following a pursuit in town on Saturday that left a police officer injured, according to the Greenwich Police Department. A fourth suspect was able to escape.
Anthony Palacios, 20, of Waterbury, remains in custody after being unable to post his bond, while two teenagers, a 17-year-old from Stamford and a 16-year-old from Bridgeport, were issued misdemeanor summonses with court dates, police said in a social media post.
In the early morning hours of Aug. 24, a stolen Cadillac sedan from Stratford was spotted in Greenwich at a Mobil station where officers attempted to apprehend the suspects, police said.

The car left at a high rate of speed, but officers successfully disabled it using a tire deflation device, causing the four suspects to flee on foot, police said.
Three suspects were quickly apprehended, and one was able to escape, police said. A Greenwich police sergeant suffered a minor injury but was later treated and released from the hospital.
