Streets Closed In Greenwich Due To Road Work: PD
Two streets in Greenwich will be closed this week due to road work in the area, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — Eversource crews will be working on Sound Shore Drive between Cos Cob Park and the entrance to the Cos Cob Train Station south side parking lot, beginning Monday at 7 a.m., according to police. Work will be performed continuously, taking place 24 hours a day, until Friday at 6 p.m.
Police said the short stretch of road will be closed while work is being completed. Access to the office building and condos will be maintained from the Sachem/Indian Field Road area.
Cos Cob Park will be accessible from Strickland Road, police said. In the event of an emergency at the park, access will be provided to emergency vehicles only via Sachem/Indian Field Road.

Work will also be starting in Bruce Park on Monday with the closure of Woods Road. Work on Bruce Park Drive and Davis Avenue will resume on Nov. 4, police said.
