Student Reports Suspicious Incident At Bus Stop: Greenwich Police

Police said a student at a bus stop in Northern Greenwich reported a suspicious incident that occurred in the area Wednesday morning.

GREENWICH, CT — A student at a bus stop in Northern Greenwich reported a suspicious incident to police on Wednesday morning, according to a post on Facebook by the Greenwich Police Department.

Police said the student reported seeing a vehicle pull over to the side of the road nearby, which was concerning to him. Police said the driver never got out of the vehicle and no words were exchanged with the student, but the student left the area and the car wasn't seen again.

"GPD officers immediately responded to the area and found no suspicious vehicles or persons. GPD officers confirmed with the student that there was no contact between him and the vehicle operator," police said. "We will continue to monitor the area. We encourage the public to report suspicious activity to us as it is occurring."
