
From the Town Hall Parks and Recreation Department: Greenwich Recreation announces that registration for summer baseball will be open Monday, May 21 online. Online registration is only available to Greenwich residents.
To register online go here and select “Activity Registration.” Mail-in registration begins Monday, June 4. Mail-in registration should not be postmarked earlier than June 4. In-person registration begins Monday, June 18 and is open to non-residents. Registration closes on Friday, June 29 or when the program has filled.
Summer baseball provides three playing divisions: Pinto, co-ed for ages 6 & 7, Mustang, co-ed for ages 8 & 9, & Bronco, for boys ages 10 through 12. The Pinto division is instructional coach-pitch for beginners. The Mustang division incorporates combined player & coach pitching as well as instruction during game-play. The Bronco division is player pitch with more formal playing structure & rules.

The summer baseball season will begin on July 9. Teams will participate in both practice and games and the season ends approximately August 17. Teams will have practices and play 1-2 games per week, mostly on weeknights at various Town fields. There may be an occasional weekend game for the Mustang and Bronco divisions.
