Suspect Tried To Break Into Greenwich ATM, Cops Say
The incident dates back to mid-August of this year.

GREENWICH, CT — A 31-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on burglary and attempted larceny charges by Greenwich police last week in connection with the attempted break in of an ATM machine at the Greenwich train station last August, according to authorities.
Devon A. Pearson, of Wilmot Avenue, was additionally charged with criminal mischief in connection with the failed early morning attempt on Aug. 16.
According to Greenwich police, officers were dispatched to the station at about 4 a.m. after a witness notified the department that someone was trying to break into the cash machine.

The suspect fled before police arrived, but undisclosed evidence collected at the scene led investigators to determine that Pearson was the alleged culprit.
Pearson was apprehended on a warrant on Sept. 20 while he was at Stamford Superior Court on an unrelated case, and was held in lieu of bail of $150,000. He is scheduled to appear in back in court on Oct. 5.
