Suspect Wanted In NY Apprehended In Greenwich: Police
The suspect was wanted by the Greenburgh Police Department in Westchester County, according to authorities.
GREENWICH, CT — A man wanted by Greenburgh police in Westchester County, New York, was taken into custody in Greenwich Tuesday afternoon, following an incident involving multiple law enforcement agencies, according to Greenwich police.
The incident began in Westchester County and continued into Connecticut. After the vehicle entered Greenwich, Greenwich police officers attempted to stop it, but the vehicle continued onto Chestnut Street, where it stopped after reaching a dead end, Greenwich police wrote on Facebook.
The suspect was then taken into custody without incident. Greenwich police said a large knife was found inside the vehicle.
