Teen Grabbed By Unknown Man; Police Investigating: Greenwich PD

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich police are asking for the public's help to identify a man accused of unwanted touching.

On Feb. 18 at approximately 7 p.m., a 17-year-old girl was walking her dog in front of Walgreens and Fitness Edge on East Putnam Avenue in Riverside when she was approached by an unknown man who started to talk to her about her dog, police said.

The man then grabbed the girl's hand and told her how pretty she was, police said. She pulled her hand away, and the man tried to kiss her and rubbed his face on hers.

The girl broke free of the man's grasp and ran away. The man quickly walked into the parking lot and entered an unknown car and left in an unknown direction, police said.

Police described the man as approximately 30-40 years of age, with short hair, average build and possibly of Asian descent.
