PANELISTS:

Sergeant Mark Zuccerella, Supervisor, Greenwich Police Department Special Victims Section

Philip Russell, Criminal Attorney and former prosecutor, Greenwich.

Recent changes in the law and law enforcement are catching up to the enormous technological power our children carry with them in their smartphones.

This presentation by two experienced professionals will help parents, educators, and the community to know what the dangers are, what the warning signs are, and provide some insight into how to deal with a potentially difficult situation that is increasingly common among younger teens.

A brief presentation followed by a question and answer session will explore recent legal changes, the enforcement strategies used in our community, parental responsibilities and options, mandatory reporting questions, and liability concerns.

Sgt. Mark Zuccerella is a 16-year veteran of the Greenwich Police Department and is experienced with all aspects of juvenile justice, sex and computer crimes, as well as educational and enforcement issues.

Philip Russell has practiced civil and criminal law in Greenwich since 1988, and is a former Bronx County prosecutor.

This presentation is open to the community of Greenwich. All are encouraged to attend with their teenagers for this informative discussion.

This is a presentation that everyone should attend -both youth and adults!
