Thunderstorms, Rain Usher In Potential Heatwave: CT Weather
Here are details on a rapidly changing weather forecast for Connecticut including our first possible heatwave of the summer.

CONNECTICUT — Rain is moving through Connecticut this morning and there is a chance of thunderstorms too across the state this morning and afternoon. Temps will rise into the mid 80s today and conditions will improve later on Tuesday.
It will be very hot and humid and once the rain ends today Connecticut will see mainly dry conditions through Thursday. Temperatures will be above normal, with humid conditions continuing, the National Weather Service says.
The NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hartford and Tolland counties saying, "Showers and scattered thunderstorms may produce locally heavy rainfall this afternoon into early this evening, which could cause local urban and poor drainage flooding. The best chance for any localized flooding may occur across eastern Connecticut, Rhode Island into southeastern Massachusetts."

Temps will approach 90 degrees on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in CT. Thunderstorms are possible on Saturday, which would serve to break up the heat and humidity. Sunday looks great with sun and temps more comfortable at around 80 degrees.
