Tickets On Sale For Greenwich Wine + Food's 'The Big Easy' Event

The event brings sights and flavors of New Orleans to life, and is a continuation of Greenwich Wine + Food's 10th anniversary celebration.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Wine + Food is continuing its 10-year anniversary celebration at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Saturday, March 4, with The Big Easy, bringing the sights and flavors of New Orleans to life, coupled with world renowned musical talent.

Beneficiaries include two national non-profit organizations with roots in Connecticut - The Jacques Pépin Foundation and Wholesome Wave.

Tickets can be purchased online, or by emailing wineandfood@ungerpublishing.com. Tickets include food, unlimited drinks and all musical performances. Prices range from $325 (VIP Floor Badge) to $450 (Diamond VIP Loge Badge). A limited number of private booths are available via sponsorship opportunities.

"We promised a bigger than ever birthday celebration, and after a successful week of one-of-a-kind events and our Gala in October, we are ready to wrap this party up with The Big Easy," said Suni Unger in a news release.

Unger is the founder and CEO of Unger Media, the parent company behind Greenwich Wine + Food and Serendipity magazine.

"What other city comes to mind than New Orleans when you think of amazing food, creative cocktails and world-renowned musical talent? Mardi Gras may be over, but we’re excited to keep that party - and ours - going for our guests for this one night only," Unger added.

This completely new, dine-around evening event will feature acclaimed area chefs serving up signature Cajun and Creole dishes from 6-8:30 p.m., paired with Bourbon Street’s iconic drinks such as hurricanes and mudslides, as well as local craft brews, premier wine and liquor served throughout the evening.

Musical talent for the evening includes headliner Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (taking the stage at 10 p.m.), Big Head Todd & the Monsters (taking the stage at 8 p.m.) and Dumpstaphunk + Cyril Neville (opening the evening’s musical line-up at 6:30 p.m.).
