CT Weather: Thunderstorms, Downpours Possible Tonight
This definitely has not been a great first weekend of summer for us and it's likely to get stormy too.

This was kind of a bust of a first summer weather weekend in Connecticut and today is no exception. It will be largely cloudy but showers and some possibly strong thunderstorms are expected this evening and tonight. And of course Monday will be beautiful with sunny skies and temps around 80 degrees.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties as "A few strong thunderstorms with gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall are possible this afternoon and evening, mainly across western and central Massachusetts and northern Connecticut."
As for Southern Connecticut a shower or two is possible this morning, with a better chance for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.." Temperatures will warm through the 70s and into the 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

"The showers and thunderstorms will weaken as they move east tonight. In general, some locations will remain dry today and tonight, while other locations could see a period of heavy rain in any showers or thunderstorms."
