The Greenwich Police Department is accepting applications for the Spring 2021 Citizen’s Police Academy Class. The 6-week session will commence on Wednesday, May 12th, and meet once a week from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. (Wednesdays). Graduation will be held on Wednesday, June 16th, 2021.

The Citizen’s Police Academy is a program that provides Greenwich residents with a first-hand overview of the law enforcement and community-related functions of the Greenwich Police Department. Instructors for the program will be highly trained and experienced Greenwich Police Officers. There is no fee for the six-week program.
Any Greenwich resident, or person employed in Greenwich, 18 years of age or older, may apply. ** Seating will be limited to 15 persons. Click on the link for the application

All classes are scheduled to take place in person at the Greenwich Police Department. COVID-19 safety protocols will be implemented, including, but not limited to, limited class capacity, social distancing, proper mask-wearing, temperature checks, and completion of symptom screening forms.
