Town Of Greenwich Seeks Crossing Guards

Greenwich is seeking full-time and substitute crossing guards.

GREENWICH, CT — The town of Greenwich is seeking both full-time and substitute crossing guards.

The pay is $21 per shift, and each school day has two shifts — one in the morning and one in the afternoon, First Selectman Fred Camillo explained in his weekly newsletter to the community on Wednesday. Each shift is 45 minutes long.

Crossing guards are entusted with ensuring the safety of children and pedestrians crossing the streets by regulating the flow of foot and vehicular traffic before and after school.
