GREENWICH, CT — A traffic alert has been issued for Sound Beach Avenue and the surrounding area from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the Greenwich Department of Public Works.

Sound Beach Avenue, Harding Road and Laddins Rock Road will be affected. There will be heavy load deliveries related to the Sound Beach Avenue bridge project.

Greenwich DPW said motorists should expect longer than normal delays, and they should seek an alternative route if possible.
