Tree Down On Merritt Parkway In Greenwich: Fire Department
Fire crews were called to the scene Tuesday evening.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich firefighters were called to the scene of a downed tree across the Merritt Parkway Tuesday evening southbound near exit 29, according to posts on the Greenwich Fire Department's Twitter page. No injuries were reported.
Details were not immediately available, but initial reports were that the tree may have struck a vehicle, but that proved to be untrue, according to officials.
