Two 18-Year-Old Caught Stealing Scooters From Greenwich Club: PD
The pair, both from Stamford, were caught at the Rocky Point Club in Old Greenwich.
GREENWICH, CT — Two Stamford 18-year-olds were arrested on larceny and criminal trespass charges after they allegedly tried to steal a scooter from the Rocky Point Club in Old Greenwich on the morning of July 18, according to police.
Arrested were Michael Zimmerman, of Perna Lane, and Katie M. Cruz, of Hillside Avenue; Zimmerman, who was caught on a motor scooter reported stolen out of Stamford, was charged with fifth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal trespass, criminal attempt at fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy. Cruz was charged with criminal attempt at fifth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trespass.
Officers were called to the club just after 11 a.m. after the two suspects allegedly were observed trying to steal a scooter.

Both were held in lieu of bail of $5,000 each and are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 1.
