U.S. Sen. Rick Scott To Attend Fundraising Event In Greenwich
Scott will be in Greenwich on Sunday for a fundraising event for U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy, according to the Hartford Courant.

GREENWICH, CT — With campaign season beginning to shift into full gear, U.S. Senate hopeful and Republican Leora Levy is holding a fundraising event this weekend in Greenwich with some big names.
According to the Hartford Courant, former Florida Governor and current U.S. Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) will make an appearance at the private fundraising dinner on Sunday, which will be held at the home of Linda McMahon, wife of former World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. CEO Vince McMahon. Scott is chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
Linda McMahon served as the 25th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration under former President Donald Trump. She ran against incumbent U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) in 2010 and lost.

The Courant reported that the top price for the private dinner is $25,000. Levy also hosted a fundraising luncheon on Wednesday in Greenwich with Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel, the Courant said.
Levy, a Greenwich resident, successfully won last month's primary to challenge the incumbent Blumenthal in November.

According to an Emerson College poll released on Wednesday, Blumenthal has a 13-point lead over Levy, 49 percent to 36 percent.
