UConn Legends Golf Tournament Returning To Greenwich

The annual tournament will feature UConn basketball and NBA alumni and benefit the school's Fight On Fund.

GREENWICH, CT — The third annual UConn Legends Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, July 27, at Greenwich Country Club, where basketball fans and former UConn players will raise money for the UConn Foundation's Fight On Fund.

Alumni athletes scheduled to participate include Ray Allen; Rashad Anderson; Scott Burrell; Joey Calcaterra; Jeff Calhoun; Donovan Clingan; Khalid El-Amin; John Gwynn; Alex Karaban; Travis Knight; Jeremy Lamb; Oliver Macklin; Tom Moore; Mike Nardi; Ed Nelson; Emeka Okafor; Tyler Olander; David Onuorah; Alex Orahaki; Rod Sellers; Chris Smith; Cam Spencer; and Jake Voskuhl.

The alumni will be paired with donors for the golf tournament.

Members of the 2027 UConn men's basketball team are scheduled to attend the evening portion of the event.

A reception following play is open to non-golfing sponsors and will include a preview of the upcoming season by the coaching staff. Auction items will include UConn basketball experiences.

Scott Burrell, a Stamford native and UConn alumnus who won an NBA championship, and Karen Hopp of Greenwich started UConn Legends in 2024 and serve as co-chairs of the event.
