"8 slow mo(v)ing objects. I saw a bright object in the western sky. Then 3, then 5 and finally 8. they were (elongated) tic tac shaped with a reddish end with a long cable hanging down. They went in different directions. two turned south, three went north and the others just hovered slowly above my head for 40 min. They changed shape from a bent tic tac to an hourglass on its side. they rotated slowly and faded and vanished," reported on June 30 in Bristol.
"Large Bright Lights at the end of a Wingtip, humming vibration felt through the air! Stood out my deck at around 22:30 hrs, when I looked up and saw 2 bright lights, at first I thought it was the lights at the wingtip of a massive Jumbo Jet going to crash and my first instinct was to run in and get my family out due to an imminent plane crash. Then for a minute or so it turned at an angle and what looked like even brighter lights (like after burners of a jet propulsion system) it turned and very quietly disappeared into the clear skies! There was a slight humming sound and I could feel an uneasy vibration in the air. This felt like one was standing in front of a large Airbus A380 coming head on towards you, but with an eerie humming sound! Spooked for sure!" reported on June 4 in Danbury.
"Driving down 84 West towards Flatbush Ave exit. I spotted 3 floating orbs in almost a triangular formation. They were too high to be drones. They had an orangeish glow similar like that of a planet. I ruled out planets because the sky was cloudy. The orb at the highest point was moving slow, but erratic, while they other 2 seemed to hover in place," reported on April 30 in Hartford.
"Egg shaped object flying over Tolland to then disappear. On the night of April 22, 2018, my girlfriend, my friend ((male name deleted)), and I, were pulling out of my driveway to bring my girlfriend home when a large oval/egg shaped object that was a white with a green kind of glow to it flew past my vehicle, and then after about 10 to 15 seconds, it’s like the lights went out and it was gone with no track of it moving in a different direction or altitude. As we got to the top of my street, which peaks the top of a mountain, we looked around all directions and it was nowhere to be found. Thinking it was just a plane, but if it was, we could easily still see it from the peak of the hill. At that point we all couldn’t believe what we saw, but we know for sure by the way it was flying and how it just disappeared it was not something of this planet," reported on April 22.
The NUFORC has existed since 1974 and investigates reported sightings around the world. There have been more than 90,000 reports made globally.
You may think states like New Mexico — home of the infamous 1947 Roswell "UFO crash" (actually, the Air Force said the crash involved a weather balloon, not a flying saucer) — have the most sightings. However, a report by 24/7 Wall St., which is a financial news and opinion site, suggests you're just as likely to see E.T. in the Northeast and Northwest.
Here are the top 10 places in the country for UFO sightings per 100,000 residents.
