Upcoming Community Events From The Greenwich Police Department
A few community events are being offered by the Greenwich Police Department over the next few weeks.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department is offering up a few community events over the coming weeks.
Annual Police Day, May 11: Come to the Greenwich Public Safety Complex, 11 Bruce Place, for demonstrations of police equipment, building tours, a bouncy house, hot dogs and more. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information can be found here.
High School and College Student Self-Defense Seminar, May 11: The seminar is great for female high school and incoming college students to learn situational awareness. The target age group is 16 to 21 years of age only. The seminar will be led by highly qualified and certified Greenwich police use-of-force instructors. More details here.

GPD Youth Citizen’s Police Academy, June 24-28: This is a five-day course designed to give youth a first-hand overview of the Greenwich Police Department and what it takes to pursue a career in law enforcement. More information and how to sign up can be found here.
