Aug. 23 is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day. The next election in Greenwich is slated for Nov. 7.
GREENWICH, CT — Since Aug. 23 is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day, now is a good time to sign up to be a poll worker in Greenwich for the upcoming Nov. 7 municipal election.
Depending on the election, the Greenwich Registrars of Voters hire between 150 and 225 poll workers, according to the town website. Pay ranges from $225 to $315 per day.
Poll workers are provided with training materials appropriate to their positions.
