VP Nominee Tim Walz To Attend Fundraiser In Greenwich: Report

GREENWICH, CT — Vice Presidential nominee and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is slated to come to Greenwich this weekend for a fundraiser hosted by Gov. Ned Lamont and other CT Democrats, according to WTNH News 8.

Walz will appear at the fundraiser on Sunday. The event, which will take place at a private home, will raise money for the Harris Victory Fund, and ticket prices range from $1,000 to $100,000, WTNH said.

Walz served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2007 to 2019, and he's currently the governor of Minnesota. He was tapped as Vice President and presidential nominee Kamala Harris's running mate in August.
