Walking Tour of Byram This Weekend

Reservations are being accepted for the tour that's part of Greenwich's 375th anniversary celebration.

As part of the Town of Greenwich’s 375th Anniversary celebration, the series of neighborhood tours will continue this weekend.

Byram resident and architect Patricia Baiardi Kantorski will be guiding the next tour through central Byram on Saturday, June 27. Prior to the tour, Kantorski will share the stories about Byram’s history in a slide presentation at the Byram Shubert Library on Mead Avenue, beginning at 10 a.m.

Immediately afterwards, the free architectural walking tour of central Byram will focus on buildings highlighted in the presentation. The tour will highlight the architectural transformation of Byram from a “last frontier” 17th century village of farmers into the one-acre of side-by-side buildings and streetscapes that define Byram today.
