Westchester Man Busted On Larceny Charge In Greenwich: PD

The suspect was picked up by authorities in Westchester Wednesday and turned over to Greenwich police which had the active warrant for him.

GREENWICH, CT — A 24-year-old Rye Brook, NY man was arrested on warrant charging him with larceny and other violations after he allegedly used a credit card stolen in Byram to illegally obtain money from an ATM, according to police.

Jeffrey A. Ricci, of Sunset Road, was picked up by authorities in Westchester Wednesday and turned over to Greenwich police which had the active warrant for Ricci's arrest.

The credit card was among personal items reported stolen from a home in Byram in November of last year. Greenwich police said detectives developed Ricci as a suspect after he allegedly used to card to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash.

Ricci was charged with fourth-degree larceny, fraudulent use of an ATM and third-degree identity theft.

He was held in lieu of bail of $25,000 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 15.
