Winning 'Lucky For Life' Lottery Ticket From Greenwich Finally Claimed
After over five months, the winning ticket was finally claimed on Aug. 11, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
GREENWICH, CT — At long last, the winning "Lucky For Life" ticket that was purchased in Byram several months ago has been claimed, just 20 days before it was set to expire, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The top prize-winning ticket was sold at Byram Smoke Shop at 111 Mill St., for the March 4, 2023, drawing, but the ticket went unclaimed for over five months and would have expired on Aug. 31.
The CT Lottery told Patch that a revocable trust out of Albany, N.Y., claimed the ticket on Aug. 11, and chose the top-prize "cash option" worth $5.75 million.
