The lucky winner matched four out of five numbers and the Mega ball, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
GREENWICH, CT — A Stamford resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning MEGA MILLIONS lottery ticket purchased in Greenwich, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, Jean V. claimed the winning ticket, which was bought at South Greenwich Convenience Mart at 623 West Putnam Ave.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

To win $10,000, a player must match four out of five numbers and the Mega ball. The odds of doing so are 1 in 931,001.
MEGA MILLIONS costs $2 per wager, and to win the Jackpot, a player must match all five numbers and the Mega ball. To do that, the odds are 1 in 302,575,350, according to the lottery
