Winter Farmers Market Opens In Greenwich: See Vendor List
The market will run on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. into the spring through May 2.
GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich residents don't have to wait until spring and summer to pick up some goodies at the local farmers market.
A winter market opened up at Sam Bridge Nursery at 437 North St. on Jan. 17. The market will run on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through May 2.
"This is a chance for people to shop the best local farmers and artisans from the Greenwich area and there will be local meat, produce, baked goods, greens and more available every week," First Selectman Fred Camillo said in his weekly newsletter to the community. "Given the potential weather challenges of the weeks ahead, the market will be held indoors so you can also check out everything the nursery has for sale during the winter months."
