Woman Accused Of Selling Drugs To Undercover Cop: Greenwich Police

Police said they arrested a 31-year-old Stamford woman on March 29.

GREENWICH, CT — A 31-year-old woman was arrested in Greenwich on March 29 after police said she sold painkillers to an undercover officer.

Demi Tylor Fecteau, of Stamford, was arrested on a warrant that charged her with two counts of possession of a controlled substance; two counts of sale of a controlled substance; criminal attempt at the sale of a controlled substance; and possession of a controlled substance, first offense, according to her arrest report.

Police said in an arrest report they began an investigation into Fecteau, who was suspected of selling drugs from her place of employment in Greenwich.

During the course of the investigation, police said Fecteau sold 100mg pills of Tramadol to an undercover police officer on multiple occasions.

Tramadol is a synthetic opioid and is used in the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It's only available by prescription from a licensed medical professional, police said.

On the afternoon of March 29, police arrested Fecteau on River Road in Cos Cob, and found her in possession of a plastic bag containing 15 Tramadol pills.

A search warrant on her car found a prescription pill container with 60 Tramadol pills in her purse, police said. The container was prescribed to someone else.

Fecteau is scheduled to appear in court on April 12.
