Woman Charged With Identity, Credit Card Theft: Greenwich PD
A woman extradited from Indiana is accused of using stolen credit cards to make "several large purchases" in Greenwich, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — A woman extradited from Indiana is accused of using stolen credit cards to make purchases in Greenwich earlier this year, police said Monday. According to an arrest report, police said Amanda Banks, 29, of Springfield, Ill., used the cards to make several large purchases from a Greenwich Avenue retailer in February.
After police determined the suspect was Banks, they obtained a warrant for her arrest, police said.
Earlier this month, authorities in Indiana informed Greenwich Police the accused was in their custody on unrelated charges. The department immediately began the process of extraditing her to Connecticut, and she was taken into custody by Greenwich Police on Oct. 10.
