Woman Passed 25 Fraudulent Prescriptions at Greenwich Pharmacy: PD

Police originally arrested the woman after she tried to fill a prescription that used the name of a dead doctor, police said.

GREENWICH, CT—A woman who was recently arrested for attempting to pass two prescriptions at Greenwich Pharmacy was found to have successfully pass 25 fraudulent prescriptions in 2016.

Karne Uomoleale, 42, of Somers, N.Y. was charged with 25 counts each of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, possession of a controlled substance and second-degree forgery. She posted a $25,000 bond and was released.

Police originally arrested Uomoleale after she tried to pass two fraudulent prescriptions that used the name of a dead doctor, according to police.
