Worker Attempted to Steal Diamond Rings At Greenwich Residence: PD
He admitted to attempting to take the rings that were worth thousands of dollars, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT—A Bridgeport man was arrested after he attempted to take a pair of diamond rings from a residence that he was working at, according to police.
Police responded to a Stanwich Road residence Oct. 20 after the larceny attempt was reported.
Worker Carl Bouteiller, 35, took two diamond rings from the master bathroom, police said. The homeowner realized they had gone missing and Bouteiller attempted to return them to the bathroom.

He admitted to his boss and homeowner that he attempted to take the rings, according to police.
He was charged with criminal attempt and criminal attempt at second-degree larceny. The rings were worth about $6,000.
