Working Fire Reported In Greenwich, Road Closed: FD

A road is partially closed in Greenwich due to a reported fire, according to Greenwich fire officials.

GREENWICH, CT — Havemeyer Lane is closed between East Putnam Avenue and North Ridge Road due to a "confirmed working fire," according to the Greenwich Dispatch Center's Twitter. The alert was sent out around 2 p.m. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

According to the Greenwich Fire L1042 Twitter page, the department also receieved "reports of a person trapped in a home," however a subsequent tweet said the "person trapped has been located outside of the house."
