YWCA Greenwich Preschool hosts parents for coffee & conversation

Thurs. 10/18, 9:15 a.m. YWCA Greenwich will host a coffee for parents contemplating the next steps for children preparing for Kindergarten.

On Thursday, October 18 at 9:15 a.m., YWCA Greenwich, 259 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, will host a coffee for parents contemplating the next steps for children preparing for Kindergarten.

"Once a child is settled in Preschool, parents need to be thinking about what schools will be the right fit for their child when it's time to choose a K-12 experience," said Geri Smiles, Director of Childhood Education, YWCA Greenwich. "Financial considerations are important, but finding a school that provides a curriculum where your child will thrive is critical to future success."

Annie Allen, Assistant Headmaster, Lower School, and Cheryl Plummer, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid with Greenwich Country Day School, will discuss what parents need to know and consider when planning their child's next educational steps. The discussion will also include specifics about Greenwich Country Day School's admission process and details about financial aid.
