1 Hospitalized After Fire Rips Through Mobile Home In Groton: Report
Firefighters responded to the call Monday night.
GROTON, CT — A person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation following a fire in Groton, according to WTNH News-8.
Police and fire crews responded to the blaze at Laurel Hill Mobile Home Park on Monday at 7:10 p.m.
A fire ripped through the home, causing extensive damage, WTNH News-8 reported.

Numerous other local agencies assisted in fighting the blaze. The Red Cross is helping those displaced by the fire, according to Poquonnock Bridge Professional Firefighters Local 2704.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
