4 Charged in Groton Home Invasion; One Victim Injured

A home invasion was reported in Groton Friday and police have already arrested and charged four people including a Waterford resident, WFSB 3 TV reports.

The home invasion occurred on Crystal Lake Road. One victim inside the house was injured after being pistol whipped and taken to a local hospital.

Waterford Police Department assisted in the investigation as the suspects were all in their teens and at least one, Christian Cruz, 19, was from Waterford.

Police told WFSB 3 TV that were able to recover two firearms that were used in the crime. Police said the victims were targeted and the incident is still under investigation.
