8 Cars Broken Into Overnight: Groton Police

Police remind residents to lock their car doors when they leave the vehicle and to remove or hide any valuables left in the car.

GROTON, CT - Groton police are investigating a number of car break-ins that happened Friday into Saturday, Fox 61 reported.

Police said eight cars were broken into and property was stolen out of them, according to Fox 61. All cars that were broken into had their doors unlocked.

The vehicles were all in the areas of Grove Avenue, Bliven Street and Riverview Avenue, as reported by Fox 61. Police remind residents to lock their car doors when they leave the vehicle and to remove or hide any valuables left in the car.
