GROTON, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Groton, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Groton Public Schools.
The first day of school for students in Groton is Aug. 30 for first to 12th grade. Kindergarten returns Aug. 31.

First Day: The first day for students in grades one through 12 is Aug. 30.
Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 through Nov. 24.

Winter Break: Dec. 22 (early release) through Jan. 1.
President's Day Break: Feb. 19-Feb. 20.
Spring Break: April 8 through April 12.
Last Day: The last day of school for students is scheduled for June 11 (early dismissal).
