Bank Promotes Groton Man to Collection Manager

Ishmael Bryan will oversee all activity in the Collection department.

Ishmael Bryan has been promoted to Collection Manager at Chelsea Groton Bank. In this position, Bryan will oversee all activity in the Collection department, and work with borrowers to develop corrective action plans when loans are not paid within the established parameters.

“With over 10 years of banking experience, and much of that time spent in lending and collection capacities, Ishmael has a keen understanding of the collection and reconciliation process,” said Judy Stumpo, Senior Vice President, Director of Risk Management at Chelsea Groton Bank. “We are confident that Ishmael will excel in this management role, and will continue to be a great contributor to the Chelsea Groton team.”

Bryan joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2008 as a Loan Servicing Representative. Since 2011, he held the position of Collection Specialist.

Bryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryant University. He also graduated from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management, and is currently participating in the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Leadership Program.

Active in his community, Bryan volunteers with the Groton-Mystic Falcon Youth Football League and is on the board of the Groton Scholarship Fund. He resides in Groton.
