Body Recovered Near Groton Marina: Report

GROTON, CT — Police said they are investigating after a body was recovered Wednesday near Spicer’s Marina in Groton, the New London Day reported.

According to the Day, police said they could not provide the deceased's age or gender yet, and the death does not appear suspicious. Police also said the body is not believed to be that of the boaters who went missing near Groton on Sunday or the kayaker who went missing in Old Saybrook on Monday.
