Bus trip canceled, continue with phone call
Groton Citizens don't want the development project at Mystic Oral School Property
To neighbors and Groton area friends,
The bus trip for Hartford to Governor Lamont's office, that was to leave the Groton Senior Center at 9:00 AM on Wednesday 9/28/22, has been cancelled.
As you should know, this activity pertains to the ongoing battle regarding the Mystic Oral School development problem and the importance of NOT allowing this project to proceed any further. We are getting more positive results from actually telephoning Governor Ned Lamont's office and presenting our displeasure with the project.
Therefore, we are still requesting that as many of you as possible make calls to 1-800-406 1527 between the hours of 9am to 6 pm Monday through Friday when phones will be answered by personnel or possibly answering machines. Please give them a short message that you are very concerned with the proposals being made in regards to the Mystic Oral School and that you want the Governor to take action to stop this project. You will be asked to give your name, etc.
