Trillium Garden Club will hold its' annual Plant Sale at the Groton Public Library rear terrace with proceeds from sales benefitting local student scholarships and community gardens. Plants for sale include a vast selection from member's gardens, our well-loved heirloom tomatoes, herbs, perennials, annuals, and this year we're offering topiaries and pansy teacups, perfect for Mother's Day gifts. Members will be on hand to answer all gardening questions. Rain or shine!

Gardens by the Sea (June 12 &amp; 13, 10-4 both days) is a self-guided garden tour through the historic Borough of Stonington. Experience the beauty hidden beyond its garden gates and explore waterfront vistas, terraced landscapes, and enchanted pocket gardens, designed in styles ranging from formal to eclectic. "Plein Air" artists will be painting in selected gardens. All gardens are within walking distance, and free parking will be available. In addition, there will be a tented Marketplace on Wadawanuck Square featuring a wide variety of vendors offering garden-inspired items, clothing, jewelry, and home decor. Event is rain or shine; tickets are non-refundable. For tickets (available starting on Feb. 1, 2026), go to www.stoningtongardenclub.org/garden-tour.

Rustic-chic private farm venue in scenic Stonington, CT 

Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
